Businesses threatened by closure of oyster farm file suit

Update: The injunction was denied and the lawsuit has been suspended.

A new lawsuit has been filed by a set of businesses that are threatened by the closure of Drakes Bay Oyster Farm.

Plaintiffs include the Tomales Bay Oyster Company, Patty Unterman of the Hayes Street Grill in San Francisco, the Alliance for Local Sustainable Agriculture, and a list of restaurants that reads like a who’s-who of the West Marin farm-to-table culinary scene, including Margaret Grade of Sir and Star, Osteria Stellina, Saltwater Oyster Depot, Café Reyes.

The Lunnys are not plaintiffs and have no involvement in the new suit.
